Ulstein Verft´s new crawler crane can lift 600 tonnes. “The investment gives us the opportunity to offer more services for our customers”, says manager service & aftermarket department, Håkon Langeland.

The assembly of the new crane has taken several days. It is now ready to lift 600 tonnes, or ten heavy goods vehicles. The crane beam is 96 metres.

“By investing in the crane, the lifting capacity at Ulstein Verft is increased. We will also be better equipped for aftermarket services, and can offer external services as the crane can be transported on our barge. Our two older cranes are for sale”, says Langeland.
